What's bringing you here today?

Most families come to us during a moment of change. Pick the closest fit โ€” each path is built around what families actually face, not what brochures describe.

Pricing & Payment

Transparent pricing. Real math. No "call for pricing."

Pricing transparency is the #1 thing families told us was missing in San Diego senior care. Here's how our pricing works, and a working calculator.

Hourly Care

$[PLACEHOLDER]/hr

4-hour minimum โ€ข Bathing, meals, transport, companionship

24-Hour Care

$[PLACEHOLDER]/hr

Rates in progress. We publish placeholders rather than estimates, so no unverified number is mistaken for a quote. Confirmed San Diego rates will replace every $[PLACEHOLDER] on publication.

Quick Cost Estimator

Adjust the inputs to see your weekly and monthly estimate. The estimator runs on placeholder rates pending confirmed San Diego pricing, so treat the result as illustrative โ€” not a quote.

Why Trust Us

An RN is involved in every single case. Every time.

Most agencies hand you off to a scheduler. We don't. Our registered nurses build the care plan, train the caregiver, and check in regularly โ€” so you get clinical oversight, not just a body in the room.

Meet your team: Our clinical team page is in progress โ€” it will name each care manager, list their credentials, and show you how to verify them.

Data in progress. We publish placeholders rather than estimates, so no unverified number is mistaken for fact. Each figure will be replaced with a measured result and the period it covers.

Family stories are coming. We publish a family's words only with their written permission, and we name them โ€” so anything you read on this page is real and checkable.

Common questions

What families ask first.

How much does senior home care cost in San Diego?
Hourly home care rates in San Diego vary by care level, schedule, and location. We publish confirmed rates rather than estimates, so any figure you see here is one we will stand behind โ€” and our San Diego rates are being finalized now. Your exact price is confirmed at your free care assessment, and there is no charge for the assessment itself.
How quickly can care start?
For most cases in San Diego County, we can start care within 24โ€“48 hours of the initial call. For hospital discharges and crisis situations, same-day starts are common โ€” we maintain a 24/7 intake line and on-call RN team specifically for this.
Will my long-term care insurance pay for this?
Yes, in most cases. We accept all major LTC insurance policies (Genworth, John Hancock, Mutual of Omaha, and others) and bill them directly so you don't pay out of pocket and wait for reimbursement. We also help VA-eligible families access the Aid & Attendance benefit.
What's the difference between home care and assisted living?
Home care brings caregivers to your loved one's home โ€” they keep their environment, routine, and independence. Assisted living moves them to a residential community with on-site staff. We do both: home care directly, and placement assistance for assisted living and memory care communities at no cost to your family.
Are your caregivers employees or contractors?
All Carevider caregivers are W-2 employees โ€” never independent contractors. They are background-checked, TB-tested, CPR-certified, and complete 40+ hours of training before their first shift. We carry full workers' compensation and liability insurance, so families are never liable for caregiver injury or tax obligations.
